Felicity was born in Edinburgh and grew up in Hertfordshire. From 2005 to 2008 she read Music at Pembroke College, and completed an MPhil in Musicology also at Cambridge in 2009. After graduating Felicity spent a year working at Wells Cathedral School as a Graduate Music Assistant. She then spent the next two years in Brunei, SE Asia, performing as a soloist and teaching cello at an international school.
She performs widely and is a renowned artist. During her first year back in the UK (2012-13) she gained her ATCL and LTCL Diplomas in Performance, both with distinction. She has played many concertos, including recent performances of Elgar’s Cello Concerto with the Welwyn Garden City Music Society and Dvorak's Silent Woods with Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra. A regular recitalist, she has performed in the St Paul’s, Bedford, Lunchtime Recital Series, for Concerts at St Andrews, Bedford, in the Hertford 'Soundbites' series, and at many other venues around the country and abroad.
Felicity plays with the Bedford Sinfonia, and for five years she was principal cellist of the Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra.
Felicity studies cello with Sue Lowe, and for many years attended the Bryanston International Cello Course, where she had masterclasses with Louise Hopkins (Head of Strings, GSMD), Tim Hugh, Pierre Doumenge, Adrian Brendel, Alexander Baillie, Tim Lowe and Matthew Lowe.
She has built up a large teaching practice in her home town of Bedford. She spent a year teaching at Bedford Girls’ School, and now works as a private teacher, and as a visiting music teacher for Pilgrims Pre-Preparatory School and, formerly, the Bedford Music Co-operative.

She lives in central Bedford with her husband and daughter.
