,Felicity has a large teaching practice and works privately from home, at Pilgrims Pre-Preparatory School, Bedford, and, formerly, as a cello teacher with the Bedford Music Co-operative. Her pupils range from age 4 to adult, and from beginner to post-Grade 8 level. She has an excellent record of success with pupils taking ABRSM and Trinity College exams, with the vast majority achieving a merit or distinction.
Although cello teaching is her main occupation, Felicity also teaches piano, singing and Music Theory from beginner to Grade 8.
She is a passionate advocate of instilling pupils with good technique from the very beginning. By developing a solid technique pupils can then express the music and themselves fully, and thereby gain the most enjoyment from their playing. Being a regular performer herself she is also aware of the importance of performing often in order to conquer nerves and to learn to perform at our best. She organises regular pupils' concerts and encourages all her pupils, younger and older, to practise their performing in front of a friendly and supportive audience.

In April 2016 Felicity inaugurated an annual Cello Day in Milton Ernest, Bedford. Now in its fourth year, the day consists of a masterclass and recital with renowned cellist Tim Lowe, and participants are also coached in chamber music ensembles and technique classes. In 2017 Felicity introduced Alexander Technique lessons to the day with local teacher Rosamund Hoskins. Students also had the opportunity to work with local accompanist Tim Grant-Jones.
